PHE Department, always in the past, took up the challenge of providing drinking water to the victims of Natural Calamities like Flood

The Department was considering for sometime past to get equipped with Mobile Water Treatment Plant that can be used for on site supply of drinking water avoiding transport of water from unaffected areas.

During 2001-02, PHE Department has taken steps to procure two Truck mounted, two Wheel mounted and two Trailer mounted Mobile Water Treatment Units. These machines are also capable of removing arsenic from water.
