| The
Public Health Engineering Department has been
entrusted with implementation of Ganga Action
Plan (GAP) Phase-II Programme in three Non-CMD
Municipal towns on river Ganga. Detail Project
Reports (DPR) for two schemes (Katwa and Dhulian)
have since been completed and submitted to CMDA-the
Nodal Agency for GAP in West Bengal for obtaining
approval of Government of India. Preparation of
DPR has been undertaken for the Heritage town
of Murshidabad. |
